Nature can teach us many lessons about spirituality, and these lessons can help us cultivate qualities that are essential for a fulfilling life. One of the most important qualities that nature teaches us is patience. Nature reminds us that things take time to grow, change, and evolve, and that we need to be patient as we navigate life's journey. For example, it can take several years for a tree to mature and reach its full potential, reminding us of the importance of being patient in our own lives.
Another quality that nature teaches us is gratitude. Observing nature's beauty can inspire feelings of gratitude and appreciation for all that exists in the world. Whether it's watching a sunset or a sunrise, or simply admiring the beauty of a flower, nature can help us cultivate a sense of gratitude that is essential for happiness and contentment.
Perseverance is another important quality that nature teaches us. Nature shows us the importance of perseverance and the ability to endure difficult times. For example, a plant that survives through a drought demonstrates perseverance and resilience, reminding us that we too need to be resilient and persistent in the face of adversity.
Nature can also teach us humility. Its vastness and power can humble us and remind us of our place in the larger scheme of things. For example, standing at the edge of a cliff or looking up at the night sky can be humbling experiences that remind us of the smallness of our individual lives.
Spending time in nature can bring peace and calm to the mind and body, reminding us of the importance of stillness and quiet. For example, walking through a forest or sitting by a river can provide a sense of serenity and help us to recharge and refresh.
Nature's interconnectedness reminds us of the unity and interconnectedness of all things, and the need to live in harmony with each other and the environment. For example, the way different species interact and support each other in an ecosystem highlights the importance of oneness and our interconnectedness with all things.
Nature also teaches us the importance of letting go. Things that are no longer necessary, such as dead leaves or branches, need to be let go to make room for new growth. For example, when autumn arrives, trees let go of their leaves to prepare for winter and new growth in spring, reminding us that sometimes, we too need to let go of things that no longer serve us.
Nature demonstrates the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth, showing us that everything is constantly changing and reminding us to trust in the natural flow of life. For example, watching the change of seasons can be a reminder of the cycle of life and the need to trust in the process, even when things may not always go as we expect.
Observing the ways in which different species interact and support each other can inspire feelings of compassion and empathy. For example, watching a mother bird care for her young can foster feelings of compassion and empathy, reminding us of the importance of being kind and compassionate towards others.
Finally, nature's majesty and complexity can awaken a sense of wonder and awe, reminding us of the mysteries of the universe and the power of the divine. For example, observing the beauty of a star-filled sky can inspire feelings of wonder and awe, reminding us of the mystery and beauty of life and the world around us.
"Your body is nothing but an antenna. Try to position it and then stabilise it in a such way that the divine pervading power could find the frequency to get connected with the soul." - Nilesh Zapade
The above quote suggests that our body is not just a physical vessel, but it also serves as an antenna for connecting with the divine energy that is present all around us. Just like an antenna picks up radio or television signals, our body can pick up the vibrations of the divine power that is present in the universe.
Sunflowers are an excellent example of how nature tunes with the divine through the power of sunlight. Sunflowers are known for their unique ability to track the sun's movement throughout the day. The way sunflowers tune with the sunlight can also be seen as a metaphor for how we, as human beings, can tune in with the divine. By positioning ourselves in a way that allows us to be open to the divine pervading power, we can connect with our souls and experience a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in life. Just as the sunflowers turn towards the sun to maximize their exposure to its life-giving energy, we too can position ourselves in a way that allows us to be receptive to the divine, thereby enhancing our spiritual growth and development.
One way to position and stabilize the body to tune in with the divine is through being in nature. Nature has a unique way of healing and rejuvenating the mind, body, and soul. The sounds of birds chirping, the rustling of leaves, the flow of water, and the fragrance of flowers are all examples of frequencies that can connect us with the divine. It is said that when one is in nature, the vibrations of the natural world help to realign and balance the human body, enabling it to become a better receiver for the divine frequency.
Another way that nature tunes in with the divine is through the practice of yoga. Yoga involves various physical postures and breathing exercises that help to balance the mind, body, and soul. Many of these postures are named after animals, such as the downward-facing dog, the cat-cow stretch, and the eagle pose. Practicing these postures can help to cultivate a deeper connection with nature and the divine, as they evoke the qualities and movements of the animals they are named after.
"A river does not fight with an ocean and loses its identity to become the ocean itself same way you have to lose the collected identity of you in order to become part and parcel of the divine."- Nilesh Zapade
The above quote speaks the idea of losing one's ego or sense of self in order to merge with the divine or the greater whole. A river is a distinct body of water with its own identity, flowing towards its destination. When it meets the vastness of the ocean, it does not fight or resist, but rather merges with it to become a part of something greater.
In the same way, as human beings, we often cling to our individual identity, with all its fears, attachments, and limitations. But to truly connect with the divine, we must let go of this sense of self and merge with the greater consciousness. This can be achieved through spiritual practices such as meditation, self-reflection, and service to others.
One can bring significant change in own life by observing nature and natural order of things. We humans think everything is created for us, we do not respect the nature. But we need to understand that nature is not something we should try to conquer and definitely not for control rather to respect and to learn by observing it closely how it flourish by keeping itself with the flow of the divine energy. Are you still gonna ignore the nature by being busy with your so called smartphone which is for making you dumb day by day?
